Ben Lear

Attorney

Ben became a licensed attorney in Utah in 2010 and has over a decade of experience assisting clients in analyzing complex legal matters. Ben specializes in representing US-based companies of all types in attracting and retaining foreign labor. Ben graduated with honors from the University of Utah S. J. Quinney College of Law. During his law school years, he clerked for the Utah Attorney General’s Office and served as a Public Policy Specialist for United Way of Salt Lake.

Before law school, while attending the Hinckley Institute of Politics, Ben interned for the Supreme Court of the United States for its Office of the Curator, which preserves the court's history. As founder and chair of the Legal Entrepreneur Section of the Utah State Bar, Ben helps local businesses in the legal services market set up new and innovative legal business models and strategies.

Ben is also a professional speaker to companies, executives, employees, schools and nonprofits, hoping to entertain, motivate, and make them think. And Ben is fluent in Portuguese from his service as a missionary in Brazil, and can “get around” in Spanish.
